Pre-Chanukah Ladies' Night Out
Over 40 ladies enjoyed socializing at a night out in the Chanukah spirit. They introduced themselves through an interactive game with the letters of the Dreidel and had a meaningful discussion learning about the women's role in the miracle of Chanukah. Look at all the unique granite Menorahs the women walked home with that night!
Waffle Bar + Toy Drive + Guest Speaker
Teens at CTeen Newton made their own waffles with an assortment of toppings and played an interactive Chanukah themed Kahoot game. They organized a toy drive for the children in Israel who suffered from the recent fires. The teens were enlightened by an uncensored question and answer session with Guest Speaker, Dr. Binyomin Abrams, senior lecturer of Boston University's Department of Chemistry, which led into heated discussions on contemporary issues.

Shofar Factory Experience
Adults and children were fascinated by the hands-on experience of crafting their own shofars. Rabbi Shalom Ber Prus presented various horns and then demonstrated how a horn is transformed into a Shofar. Participants were then able to experience the process themselves with their very own Shofar.
CTeen Cookies for Cops
With the recent attacks on law enforcement officials across the country, teens at CTeen felt that they should express their appreciation to the local Police officers. The teens baked chocolate chip cookies and then delivered them to the Newton Police Department. While the cookies were baking in the oven, together with Rabbi Shalom Ber Prus, the teens explored Judaic sources on the importance of law enforcement. Lieutenant Bruce Apotheker, together with other officers, met the teens at the station and gave them an extensive tour. The Police officers were very thankful for the thoughtful appreciation the teens displayed.
